Bunny Ears Podcast 40: Camp No Counselors (Annotated)
Hi, I’m Craig The Intern, and they make me transcribe these every week. I wasn’t invited to go to Camp No Counselors with them. Everyone I work with is a jerk! Everything’s going great so far!
The Guest: A bunch! Michael Rosenbaum, Dave Kushner, Carl McDowell, Stewart P Miller, Jimmy Scanlon and his pal Duane!
The Lowdown:
The guys went to a summer camp for adults and took like half the BE writing staff with them. They even brought our graphic designer, Sherard. Guess who didn’t get to go on the super fun camp trip? ME, Craig.
Anyway, this episode was actually a ton of fun to listen to as it sounds like a total madhouse in the bunk that all these crazy people shared for three nights. After a ton of introductions the episode hits the ground running with lots of cross-talk, laughter and chanting.
Stew’s crotch was very close to Michael Rosenbaums’ foot the entire time the gang recorded.
There is a brief recap of Rosenbaum’s epic night-farts. Followed by a round-table discussion of what it’s like to come to camp as an adult. Everyone is pretty amped up to be there and, honestly, it sounds like it was so much fun. The longer I listen to this episode the more consumed I become with a white hot rage that I’m not sure I can let go of without punching something or holding my breath until I pass out.
ANYWAY… Stew gets a lot of love in this episode by virtue of the fact that every time the guys introduce a new person to the room everyone chants “STEW STEW STEW” regardless of the new person’s name not being Stew.

The conversation eventually turns to the winner of our GO TO CAMP WITH MACK contest, Mr. Jimmy Scanlon. The whole gang loved hanging out with Jimmy and his pal Duane, as is evident in the conversation. Jimmy got to come to camp because he submitted the BEST video convincing us to take him to camp. He truly was the best of the best. That’s saying a lot because we actually got some amazing entries. Anyway, I would have more to say about Jimmy but I WASN’T INVITED TO CAMP SO I NEVER GOT TO MEET HIM OR HAVE FUN.

Finally, this episode marks the first of a run of episodes that will culminate into a pretty huge announcement for the Bunny Ears Podcast, the future of the BE Podcast Network and you fine folks: the fans.
