We all want to eat like celebs. They look so good, but they have access to all sorts of private chefs and expensive ingredients that most of us can’t afford, right? Wrong! Look no further than your local Yankee Candle to find out exactly what you need to do in order to eat like some of today’s hottest celebs. For instance…

Danny DeVito

At $30 per candle, the poached pear flambé is one of the most decadent offerings in the Yankee Candle palette. Danny Devito has to have a zip lock bag with a few slices of poached pear flambé in his pocket at all times. They’re not just for him though! Danny loves to share his poached pear pieces with anyone who asks. “They’re great,” he tells us. “I wish everyone was fortunate enough to be able to snack on these candle chunks. I like to toss them at people on the street just to you know, improve their day a little. People love my candle chunks.”

 Jesse Eisenberg

A known foodie, Jesse Eisenberg frequents the Yankee Candle in Buffalo, New York. “It’s a real shame I, I, I, have to come all the way to Buffalo for good quality Yankee Candles to eat,” he says. “Sure there are authorized sellers in Manhattan, but, but, everything is just fresher at the store. Plus there are so many more options.” Jesse can be seen most Sundays making the trek out to Buffalo for a medium jar of Berrylicious, with a side of Apple Spice tea lights.

Ellen

When we reached out to Ellen about her typical diet, her answer had us floored! “I gotta tell you this story. The other day, Portia and I were chowing down on some delicious Yankee Candles, as we do on most weeknights, and I said to her—Portia, what flavor is this? She said Mountain Lodge, and I gotta say, I love it! I love eating Mountain Lodge-flavored Yankee Candles. Who knew?! Normally you want a nice Cranberry Chutney, or a Honey Blossom, but I’m over here chowing down on a whole vacation home! I’m Ellen.”

Vincent D’Onofrio

Vincent D’Onofio’s secret indulgence is a Bakery Air candle melted down and glazed over a fistful of paper. “I know it’s bad but uh, I can’t help myself. I uh, love these candles and I don’t think, you know, I don’t think it’s a bad thing to treat yourself every once in a while,” D’Onofrio shared. When asked how celebrity bodies are somehow able to process delicious Yankee Candle wax in a way that normal human bodies can’t, D’Onofrio offered no response.

Barbara Walters

Babs has been known to eat like a bird, but not when it comes to Yankee Candles. “I’ve been eating Yankee Candles since 1971,” she said. “I can eat an entire large candle in one sitting, straight from the jar. There’s nothing better than an evening standing over my sink with a spoon and eating a whole candle plus a couple of votives while watching my favorite WWE RAW reruns.” She went on to site Turquoise Sky and Vanilla Bourbon as her main addictions, but if she’s feeling naughty a heaping helping of warm luxe Cashmere might just make its way into her pantry.

Alan Alda

“Can I give you a word of advice? Try a lit Coconut and Vanilla Bean candle. It is terrific, just terrific,” Alan Alda told us. We asked if he eats anything else in a typical day, but he just laughed and wandered away.
