Way Too Formal Breakfasts For After Casual Sex

I have always considered myself a sex-positive woman. I have needs, and I’m not afraid to admit it. But that doesn’t mean I don’t treat my (extremely casual, no strings-attached) partner, Liam, with dignity and kindness. We might not be a couple (which again, I’m 100% okay with), but I don’t ever want him to feel cheap.

That’s why, after a night of sweet love-making (or “hanging out,” as Liam prefers I call it), the least I can do is make him a hearty breakfast before work. He needs the energy because he’s a junior executive at the third-most successful marketing company in town. He even makes a family wage. Which would be perfect if he could just find a wife who wanted nothing more than to make babies with him. As his friend, I hope he finds her one day. Maybe he already knows her and just doesn’t realize she would make an incredible wife. Maybe she’s right under his nose. However close she is, I hope he finds her.

Anyway, here are a few of my go-to breakfasts for my totally chill thing with Liam.

Onion and Asparagus Baked Eggs

Liam needs his protein and green vegetables while he’s on the job, especially since he used all his energy satisfying me all night. According to his texts with his brother I read while he was in the shower, he’s also up for a promotion. So he’ll really need a hearty breakfast this week.

Fresh Fruit On Homemade Greek Yogurt

Sometimes a healthful, nutritious breakfast is the way to go. Especially since Liam’s been training for that marathon, according to his G-cal.

Apple Nectarine Flax Muffins

Once I had scrolled through all 1300 of Liam’s Instagram photos I started to notice that he loves pastries and eats at least one nectarine a summer—so I decided to combine the two! Much like Liam’s soul and mine combine every time our bodies touch.

Deep Fried Avocado with Cilantro Hollandaise

I learned from Liam’s old Live Journal he wrote when he was 15 that he was in an emo band called Web and that he loves avocados and french fries. Since he doesn’t have the metabolism of a teenager anymore I cut out the potato-based product and just fried the avocado. The fryer only cost me $300, but I felt that it was a worthy investment since it’s so hard to find a man willing to keep things completely casual.

Hope you enjoyed these gourmet breakfast tips! Now excuse me, I think I heard a text come in, and there’s a 7% chance it’s from Liam.
