This week, the Bunny Ears podcast is going where it’s never gone before: cats. That’s right. Macaulay Culkin talks to Sara Iyer and Steven Ray Morris from The Purrrcast—everyone’s favorite feline-themed podcast—in this crossover extravaganza (and you can head over to The Purrcast for the second part of their convo!).

The crew covers everything from how to discipline a smart cat (hint: teach it to love), to getting a pickle away from a determined Toyger, to what the heck you call two cats with the same parents born to different litters (brothers? twins? We really don’t know).

They then branch out to more general pet-related topics, such as how Shiba Inu fur feels “spongy,” why owning fish can be heartbreaking, and how Mack just got a bird. (That’s right! MACK GOT A BIRD. And you’ll hear more about that when he interviews Andy Richter next week. Shhh).

Also, Steven reminds us why we should all be fearful of coyotes, Sara explains how she accidentally bred hundreds of snails, and Mack recalls how he once went to a funeral smelling like cat pee. Basically, it’s an extremely typical and highly enjoyable hour of the Bunny Ears podcast.

Plus, YOU GET A WHOLE EXTRA HOUR of Mack, Sara, and Steven over at The Purrrcast this week, so check it out here!

To see/hear more of Sara, check her out on Twitter here and Instagram here, as well as her other podcasts, Nothing But The Bluth and Weezerpod! Meanwhile, Steven’s at Twitter here and Instagram here, and you can also listen to him on his Jurassic Park-themed ‘cast, See Jurassic Right.
