Viewers of Russian Doll might be concerned that Natasha Lyonne is stopping by the Bunny Ears studio on her way to her birthday party (which Mack attended and was definitely cooler than any party you’ve been to), but don’t worry. She’s fine! She’s got a lot of new projects coming out, and she doesn’t appear to have died. Not bad at all.

Aside from her directorial debut, Cabiria, Charity, Chastity, and her new Netflix series, she and Mack talk about the existential quandary of birthdays, gangster movies (Mack has never seen Scarface), Harry Potter, Harvey Keitel’s penis, doing whip-its with Clea Duvall, Elon Musk and the end of the world, their respective histories of smuggling, the advantages of filming in winter vs. summer, and their old Party Monster co-star, Marilyn Manson, who Natasha apparently just runs into once in a while.

In between, we’re treated to further delightful installments of Meditation Minute with Luis Prada and This Day In Science with Mary Tyler Most. Mack also tells an intriguing story about Stewart P. Miller from Columbus (Ohio) and wiener schnitzel and drops a baby bombshell. You’re not gonna wanna miss this one, warren!

After you listen, make sure to check out Cabiria, Charity, Chastity and follow Natasha Lyonne @nlyonne on socialmedia.com.

  2. Happy birthday,Natasha Lyonne I would sing it to you but I don’t think we can leave a voice message do you guys. And remember 40s the new 20 LOL I’m listening to your podcast now thanks again Macaulay for putting it on

  3. I can EASILY see Mac, Natasha and me, late at night, sitting at a rooftop in NY talking about a number of different things… I, of course, could just be nodding and laughing from being so culturally challenged especially next to these two.
What a great conversation this was, guys!
It made me realize I am SO dumb.
